The check-in is quick, the rooms are comfortable and clean. There is a great selection at the Breakfast.
My husband and I spent a nice romantic few days here. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was very nice. Nothing fancy, but hit the spot. The outdoor pool was small, but clean and nicely kept up. There are doors leading to the inside of the hotel that required a hotel key to get in, but we were able to get into one of the doors without using our door key, so that should be checked out. We would definitely consider returning to this hotel again.
This Best Western has always been the best hotel for the money in the area.
Very professional staff. I wasn’t able to make my reservation and spoke to a young woman by the name of Missy who was able to help me out and cancel them for me last minute. She was very professional kind and understanding. Five stars. Other hotels probably would not even take the time to help you out. Thanks Missy!
I will end on the one positive note that the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Priceline refunded me the money for the 2 nights I didn't stay.
It will take me awhile to decompress from the horrible experience we had at this place. We had 2 towels with pubic hairs in them, the sheets smelled so harshly of bleach I felt like I was swimming in a heavily chlorinated pool, floors felt dirty and looked like they hadn't been vacuumed, and overall I just felt disgusted in the room. The deadbolt on the door didn't work. We had a prank call at 9:30 pm saying it was the front desk staff saying they needed our credit card again. It was clearly not front desk staff and thankfully I didn't fall for the scam. Then what sent me over the edge was the sex party that was being held next door to us. The walls are so thin that we could hear everything. The front desk staff was very understanding and helpful and gave us a new room to check in. That room had an even dirtier bathroom floor but at least we could sleep without hearing the noise next door. I couldn't wait until morning came so I could check out and find a new hotel for the rest of my stay here. I have no idea how this hotel has a 4 star rating. It was a horrible experience and I will never stay at this location or any other Best Western in the future.
My husband and I visit Maryland once or twice a year. We use different hotels in the Waldorf/La Plata area. We’ve stayed at this hotel several times before the remodel and it was sufficient for our needs. Because we stay for a week or more each visit, we like to get the best deal for our money. This time, not only was it the best room rate, but the staff and the remodel made it our best visit to date! Cassandra, the Operations Mgr. was exemplary at fulfilling our needs. She made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable and we were extremely happy with our room. She is excellent at Customer Service! Our housekeeper and the girls in the food service were always very pleasant. Thank you, Cassandra and staff, we will definitely stay here again.
